M&E Engineer

Position: M&E Engineer

Location: London & Home Counties

Salary: £45-50k

Our client requires a mobile M&E engineer to join there ever-growing HVAC & Building Services team. The HVAC & Building Services operate across London with various commercial portfolios. The work is a mixture of planned maintenance and repair works as well as reactive works from our call-out service.

Working across a wide range of mechanical and electrical assets, the M&E Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and optimising building systems to ensure efficient operation.

Mechanical duties include AHUs, FCUs, HIUs, chillers, pumps, inverters, cooling towers, adiabatic coolers, underfloor heating, and pipework, requiring a solid working knowledge of all M&E and HVAC systems

.

Electrical duties involve BMS monitoring, meter checks, fault finding.

Job Title Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Mechanical & Electrical engineering within the building services sector
• Hold 18th edition
• Have Mechanical qualifications
• Strong understanding of HVAC, Plant rooms and Commercial Electrical systems
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across London & the Home Counties.

Job Title Salary & Benefits

• Competitive salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)
• 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
• 23 days plus bank rising with service
• 5-2x overtime rates - engineers often 10-15k additional per annum
• Company van optional personal use available.
• 1-8 call out rota - looking to grow to 1-10
