The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with NCG to recruit an exceptional Head of Quality on behalf of Lewisham College.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced quality leader to play a pivotal role in driving educational excellence across one of London's leading further education colleges. Reporting directly to the Vice Principal for Curriculum and Quality, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for quality assurance, quality improvement and staff development, ensuring learners receive an outstanding educational experience.

As Head of Quality, you will lead the College's quality strategy, embedding a culture of continuous improvement across all curriculum areas. Working collaboratively with senior leaders, curriculum managers and teaching teams, you will ensure quality systems are robust, impactful and fully aligned with the College's ambition to achieve outstanding outcomes.

This is a highly influential leadership position where your expertise will directly shape learner success, staff development and organisational performance.

You will:

• Provide strategic leadership for quality assurance, quality improvement and compliance across the College.
• Drive continuous improvement in teaching, learning and assessment, with a focus on inclusion, SEND, English and Maths, and learner progress.
• Lead the College's quality assurance framework, self-assessment processes and quality improvement planning.
• Prepare the College for Ofsted inspections and external quality reviews, acting as nominee or assistant nominee where appropriate.
• Use performance data and KPIs to identify trends, challenge performance and deliver measurable improvements.
• Lead stakeholder voice initiatives, ensuring learner feedback informs decision making and enhances the student experience.
• Develop and manage quality policies, systems and procedures that support excellence across all provision, including subcontracted delivery.
• Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing Quality Team, promoting innovation, collaboration and professional growth.
• Manage quality and staff development budgets effectively to maximise organisational impact.

We're looking for an experienced and inspirational leader who brings:

• Significant experience leading quality improvement within Further Education or Higher Education.
• A strong track record of raising standards and delivering measurable improvements in teaching, learning and learner outcomes.
• Excellent knowledge of Ofsted, FE quality frameworks and self-assessment processes.
• Experience of leading curriculum quality, performance management and organisational change.
• Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insight into action.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A collaborative approach combined with the confidence to challenge, influence and drive improvement.
• A degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject, with a recognised teaching qualification. A postgraduate qualification is desirable.
