HGV Class 2 Driver

Driver Hire Colchester is looking for experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for full time roles.

If you have experience in lorry driving and are looking for ongoing, full-time HGV work in the surrounding areas of Colchester, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Job Details:

Driving a Class 2 vehicle locally and to London.

Day work available either weekdays or weekends: £16.50 - 18.00 per hour

Flexibility including morning and mid-day starts and weekend shifts available.

Must be physically fit as this HGV driver role entails lifting, strapping loads, moving cages etc

Full Training & Induction Provided

Will accept new HGV passes.

This could lead to a full-time, permanent position.

Weekly PAYE pay, including pension contributions.
Guaranteed minimum 10 hours' pay per day

Requirements:

Physically fit - role involves manual handling.

Comfortable driving into London in HGV Class 2 vehicle.

Valid Category C (Class 2) licence. Up-to-date CPC & Digital Tachograph cards.

Maximum of 6 points on licence (no DR, DD, or IN convictions).

Own transport essential due to varied locations and early starts.

Please note: Pay rates include holiday pay at 12.07%.

We have found HGV drivers, lorry drivers, class 1 drivers, and class 2 drivers to be successful in this role.

This opportunity is commutable from Colchester, Clacton-on-Sea, Harwich, Sudbury, Halstead, and surrounding areas.
