International Service Engineer

• In return for your flexibility to undertake worldwide travel, the International Field Service Engineer will receive a generous travel/expense allowance in addition to Time off in lieu

The company was formed in 1999 to provide an initial solution within the publishing world and has now become a pioneer within this industry. The company originally started within new product development but has now grown to include a customer support team/marketing capability and more importantly the ability to sub-contract manufacturing through innovative and high performing products which has led to them becoming market leaders and supplier of choice within their industry.

As the International Field Service Engineer, they will be required to test the customers unique application at the companys facility, prior to shipment and installation at the end-customers facility. The successful candidate will be tasked with producing sample booklets, install and commissioning of new machines, provide intensive product training, provide remote technical support and occasional visits to the customer to provide updated training and install upgrades.

What we would like from you as our International Field Service Engineer:

• Hands-on experience of installing and commissioning high speed electro-mechanical processing equipment in the UK and abroad
• Experience of diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical faults and provide problem reports, actions to be taken and recommendations for future product development
• Ability to read electrical schematics and circuit diagrams
• Excellent communication skills, and confidence in discussing technical details and complex machine applications
• Valid UK Passport
• Experience in providing operator and maintenance training courses to end customers and sales agents
