Salary: 33,000.00 per annum
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Property Compliance Officer to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our property portfolio complies with all relevant legislation, with a strong focus on fire safety. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to a vital aspect of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Fire Safety Compliance:
- Conduct fire safety risk assessments and audits across our property portfolio.
- Develop and implement fire safety policies and procedures.
- Advise on the application and interpretation of fire safety legislation.
- Investigate fire safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
Property Compliance:
- Review and assess properties to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations (e.g., building regulations, health and safety).
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on compliance matters.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of compliance processes.
Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance activities.
- Prepare reports and conduct data analysis as required.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of fire safety legislation and best practices.
- Experience in conducting fire safety risk assessments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate or equivalent.
- Experience working within the housing or property management sector.
- Knowledge of other relevant health and safety legislation.
