Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, develop, and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student according to their specific needs.
• Employ a variety of educational techniques (e.g., visual, auditory, physical) to teach students who have learning, physical, or emotional difficulties.
• Assess students' abilities and craft teaching plans that cater to their individual needs.
• Engage with parents/guardians to inform them of their child's progress and suggest techniques to promote learning at home.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of students.
• Foster a nurturing and supportive learning environment that encourages student growth and development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an SEN Teacher or similar role.
• Deep understanding of the challenges faced by children with special educational needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create and implement effective teaching strategies.
• Patience, creativity, and flexibility.
