We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Southwark. This is a long-term role running until the end of the academic year, offering a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable school-based experience.

• Supporting students in the classroom, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis
• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
• Helping students with special educational needs or learning difficulties to access the curriculum
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
• Providing academic and emotional support to students as needed

• Previous experience working with children in an educational, mentoring, or support capacity
• A valid DBS on the Update Service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A patient and proactive approach to supporting students' learning
• Ability to work well as part of a team
