RGN Nurse Care Home

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Care Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and medication administration, with a deep understanding of anatomy.

Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition, reporting any changes
- Provide wound care and other nursing treatments as required
- Educate patients and their families on health management and self-care techniques

Experience
- Essential: Anatomy knowledge, patient care, medication administration
- Nice-to-have: Experience in home care or community nursing

• Deliver all clinical care following our established policies and procedures.
• Ensure that the care team provides care consistent with the inter-professional, evidence-based care plan.
• Oversee patient care during shifts, as needed.
• Must be a registered nurse with post-registration experience in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of current legislation in the independent care sector.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• Strong ability to lead, develop, and motivate a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administering medication and developing care plans
• Providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to residents
• Ensuring safeguarding principles are consistently upheld
• Leading shifts as the Nurse in Charge
• Managing the team and planning shifts
• Implementing infection prevention and control measures
• Collaborating with General Practitioners and Multi-Disciplinary Teams
• Maintaining high standards of clinical governance

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A nursing qualification recognized by the UK NMC
• A valid UK NMC PIN and registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN), Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD), or Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
• The ability to perform physical tasks, such as assisting residents with mobility
