Cover Supervisor

U-Educate is recruiting a Cover Supervisor to join an inspiring school in the Portsmouth area.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and looking to make a positive impact on students' learning experiences.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising students in the classroom and presenting pre-planned lessons in the absence of a teacher. The successful candidate will ensure that students remain engaged and motivated, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students stay on task.
• Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment.
• Support students with their learning and respond to any questions or concerns.
• Report any issues or concerns to the appropriate staff member.

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively.
• Enthusiastic and proactive attitude towards education.
• Previous experience in a similar role or working with young people is desirable.
• A genuine interest in supporting students' learning and development.
