Community Occupational Therapist - East London

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic and supportive team in East London, specializing in neurological rehabilitation within the community setting. This role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options available.

Position: Full-time (Part-time also considered)
Band: 6
Pay: £26-27 per hour
Car Driver Essential

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing and treating individuals with neurological conditions, including stroke, brain injuries, and other neurological disorders, within a community setting.
• Developing personalized care plans and rehabilitation programs to help individuals regain independence and improve quality of life.
• Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for service users.
• Supporting patients and their families through the rehabilitation process, providing education and guidance on activities of daily living.
• Maintaining detailed, accurate documentation and adhering to clinical standards and policies.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Occupational Therapist with relevant experience in neurological rehabilitation.
• HCPC registration.
• Proven experience in a community-based role or similar setting.
• Car driver with access to own vehicle, as the role requires travel within the East London area.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
