The Role

The SEMH Mentor will:

• Build trusting, positive relationships with pupils to help them regulate, engage, and succeed.
• Support pupils both in the classroom and through targeted 1:1 or small-group interventions.
• Work alongside teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams to deliver holistic support.
• Encourage resilience, self-esteem, emotional management, and social development.
• Contribute to behaviour support plans and personalised strategies.
• Model calm, consistency, and empathy in challenging situations.
