Principal Electronics Engineer

There will be the opportunity to visit/work at the clients Bolton facility

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following type of activities:

• Reviewing design technologies and performing trade off studies.
• Schematic capture, simulation and worst-case circuit analysis.
• Design & development
• Systems engineering
• High speed digital network
• Requirements development
• Solutions focus for digital network issues
• Verification and validation
• Systems reviews
• Integrating systems in a network.

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant engineering discipline, with significant demonstrable experience

Essential skills

• Experience working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams to deliver activities on a range of project types.
• Demonstrable experience in covering a variety of tasks across a range of complexities.
• Good communications skills and the ability to interface with other disciplines
• In depth circuit knowledge/analysis fault finding.
• SciCAD
• Mathcad
• MS Office
• LTspice
