Export AOG -4/4 Days or Nights

Medium sized Freight Forwarder near Heathrow are looking to recruit an Export AOG Night Operator

Ideally looking for someone with around 2-3 years experience in the industry

Salary up to £40k

Hours 7pm-7am 4 on 4 off - NIGHTS

Hours 7am -7pm 4 on 4 off - Days

Role:

Handling AOG/Time sensitive shipments

Export shipments via Air/Road via customers request i.e. Telephone, Email

Collation of Export documentation: Hawb's/Mawb's/Customs formalities/Post flight/Security procedures/routing of shipments/airline liaison/transport request and reporting/Crosstrade movements

Export documentation - to ensure Awbs are cut and completed in accordance with customers instructions and rated correctly as per Iata Airlines regulations

Customs - to ensure Customs documentation is in accordance with suppliers instructions including IPR/OPR/Export Licence entries

Ideal Candidate/Key competencies

Some experience, working on AOG's in an Export Department, in a Freight Forwarding Company desirable.

Aerospace, shipping Aircraft Parts

Must be able to work under pressure & tight deadlines

Comfortable working on their own

Excellent Customer Service skills

Good time keeping / Attendance

Computer literate

Willing to cover opposite shifts holidays from time to time

Must be a car driver, due to location

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Good command of the English language

Minimum Security Cargo Op (Trained)

Forklift License preferred

Software Systems:

Boxtop / Cargo Wise

e-Customs / CDS

Microsoft office
