Teaching Assistant - Romford Primary School

To start as soon as possible - An excellent opportunity for a Teaching Assistant looking for a part-time afternoon role in a Romford based school. You will be working in the Year 2 class, supporting the teacher and helping the students with their learning during key afternoon lessons.

Monday - Friday, part-time afternoons only 1.30pm - 3.30pm (Term time only)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support to the class teacher and contribute to a positive learning environment.
• Work with students in small groups or 1:1 to reinforce learning and provide additional guidance.
• Assist with preparation of resources and classroom organisation.
• Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain the school's high expectations.
• Support the students with varying learning needs to promote engagement and progress.
• Safeguard the students by following school policies and procedures at all times.
• The ability to work effectively during a short but busy part of the school day.
• Teaching Assistant L2/L3 qualification would be desirable.
