Commercial Gas Engineer Role & Responsibilities:

  • Installation, servicing, and maintenance of commercial gas systems
  • Diagnose and repair faults in commercial gas heating, boilers, and appliances
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations, guidelines, and company standards
  • Perform routine maintenance and system checks to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to complete projects efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service by liaising with clients and offering tailored gas solutions
  • Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work carried out
  • Assist with the commissioning of new systems and upgrades to existing systems
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
  • Stay up-to-date with industry changes and new technologies
  • Mentor and support junior team members when needed

Commercial Gas Engineer Skills & Experience:

  • Full UK Driving Licence or equivalent (essential)
  • Commercial Gas Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in installing, servicing, and maintaining commercial gas systems
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial heating systems, boilers, and associated components
  • Ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently
  • Excellent understanding of relevant health and safety regulations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills for client interaction and reporting
  • Previous experience in a commercial setting is preferred
  • Willingness to undertake further training and development
  • Knowledge of gas safety and compliance regulations is an advantage
