CNC Machine Setter/Operator semi-skilled

Location: East HertfordshireSalary: £28,000 - £30,000 (rising to £40,000 with experience)

You'll be joining a long-established and growing business producing high-quality CNC milled and turned components for industries including aerospace, healthcare, and technology.

What You'll Learn and Develop

• Advanced CNC Techniques: Setting, programming, and optimising CNC sliding head machines.
• Precision Engineering: Developing the skill and discipline to achieve exacting tolerances and top-tier quality.
• Problem Solving: Diagnosing and resolving issues quickly to keep production running smoothly.
• Process Efficiency: Streamlining setups to improve productivity without compromising standards.
• Collaboration: Working closely with fellow engineers and inspectors to deliver consistent results.

What's on Offer

• Competitive salary £28,000 - £30,000 (progressing to £40,000)
• 4.5-day week: Monday-Thursday: 7:15 am-4:15 pm, Friday: 7:15 am-2:45 pm

Who We're Looking For

You might be:

• A recent apprentice graduate
• In your first or second engineering-related role
• Or someone with a good level of CNC experience looking for more autonomy, challenge, and progression
