Position Details:

Location: Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire
Hours: Monday - Friday (09:00 - 15:30)
Salary: £85 - £90 per day (inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay)
Contract: Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities as a Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Build meaningful relationships with students, helping them feel safe and supported.
• Promote personal growth and independence while encouraging positive behaviour.
• Assist in delivering engaging, differentiated educational activities.
• Support classroom operations and adapt to the school s needs.
• Help foster students cognitive, emotional, and social development.
• Provide support with personal care, when required.

What We re Looking For as an Unqualified SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Education: Minimum Grade 4 or equivalent in GCSE Maths and English.
• Experience: Prior work with SEN pupils is desirable but not essential.
• Transport: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, or ability to commute.
• Safeguarding Knowledge: Awareness of safeguarding principles and child protection procedures.
• Eligibility: Full-Time Right to Work in the UK.
