Network Asset Inspector

• Conducting on-site inspections to ensure the highways network's safety and compliance with statutory regulations
• Reporting to the Senior Network Asset Inspector and delivering a customer-centric inspection service
• Supporting enforcement actions in line with the Highways Act 1980 to ensure all third-party actions do not put highway users at risk
• Facilitating compliance through discussions and negotiations in the first instance
• Supporting enforcement actions when non-compliance with the Highways Act 1980 is identified
• Working outside normal hours to ensure the successful delivery of out-of-hours service

• Experience in streetworks and a strong understanding of NRSWA regulations
• Familiarity with statutory duties and requirements outlined in the Highways Act 1980
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to achieve compliance through discussions
• Ability to support and facilitate enforcement actions when necessary
• Solid organisational skills and ability to conduct thorough and detailed inspections
• Willingness to work outside of normal hours to meet job requirements
• Committed to delivering a high-quality, customer-centric service
