Early Years Nursery Practitioner or Senior practitioner and Room leader

We are currently looking for enthusiastic staff at our fabulous, outstanding rated children's day nursery and preschool in Amersham.

Hours:

Ideally working 4 or 5 days per week, working between 7.30 and 6pm, but we can be flexible and discuss a 3 day working week.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and motivated individuals with a real passion for developing young minds, who as well as bringing their own experiences to the Nursery, are eager to develop their knowledge base with continued learning.

We have 2 roles and are currently looking for a Room Leader, you must hold a L3 or higher in childcare, and one Full or part time Nursery assistant/practitioner or Senior practitioner. L2/L3 or higher qualified

Duties include;

• Assisting the Room Leader and Nursery Management in providing day to day high quality childcare. (Senior and room leader will be in charge of overseeing daily duties within the rooms and be part of the leadership team)

• Provide a positive learning environment that offers choice, experiences, independence and meets all the children needs.

• Be able to have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning.

• Ensuring a safe, secure, and caring environment for the well-being of the children.

The ideal candidate will.

• Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.

• Have a good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS)

• Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.

• Be qualified at NNEB/NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in childcare -

• Be able to work well in a team.
