Bench Joiner

We are looking for a skilled Bench Joiner to work for a residential and commercial manufacturing company in the Colchester area. You will have a keen passion for a variety of woodworking projects and styles. This is a varied role ideal for someone looking to progress their joinery career.

You will be responsible for fabricating various types of products including cabinets, doors and a variety of other furniture for commercial or residential fit outs.

Salary will be dependent on experience, between circa 17ph. The company are looking for a skilled joiner who is able to fit straight into their busy team. Working hours are 07:30-16:30 Monday to Friday.

Duties include:

• Cutting, shaping and joining various materials
• Using various hand/power tools
• Working with a variety of products such as solid wood and veneers
• Working in a team to create high standard joinery pieces

Skills required:

• 4+ years experience as a bench joiner
• Ideally have experience working within bespoke joinery firms
• Reading from drawings and cutting lists
