Warehouse Supervisor

Job Title: Warehouse SupervisorLocation: MedwayContract Type: PermanentWorking Pattern: Full Time (40 hours across 4 days, mid-week, day shift)Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

Our client, a leading manufacturer, is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their dynamic team in Medway! If you have a passion for efficiency and a knack for leadership, this is the opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide a small team, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
• Manage the booking and inspection of incoming deliveries and raw materials
• Accurately issue materials and components in line with production schedules.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and address any stock discrepancies
• Optimise warehouse layout for safe and efficient use of space.
• Operate stock management systems (experience with Sage is a plus).
• Ensure adherence to all safety and operational procedures.
• Safely operate forklift equipment (valid forklift licence required).

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of stock control and inventory management.
• Experience with stock management/ERP systems (Sage experience is advantageous).
• A valid Forklift Licence (Counterbalance and/or Bendi preferred).
