Setting out Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled setting out engineer to play a key role in delivering a prestigious £166m commercial fit-out project (CAT A & B) near Holland Park. This is an excellent opportunity to join a Tier One Main Contractor on a landmark scheme.

The role:

• Provide precise and accurate setting out for floors, communal areas, and WCs to ensure works are delivered to design specifications.
• Collaborate with site management and subcontractors to ensure the smooth progression of construction activities.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure all works are carried out to the highest standard.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of setting out and as-built information.
• Support health and safety compliance by ensuring work aligns with safety standards and regulations.

About you:

• Experience as a setting out engineer on high-value fit-out or construction projects (£50m+), ideally CAT A and B.
• Proficient in the use of total stations, GPS, and other surveying equipment.
• Strong technical knowledge of fit-out processes, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience working with Tier One contractors on large, fast-paced projects.
