Electrical/Electronic Service Engineer

We are currently hiring Electrical/Electronic Service Engineer for our client based in West London, a manufacturing company for rail industry.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To provide service support to meet the Customers needs/ requirements.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To carryout repairs as requested to machines and equipment
• To modify items / systems on machines and equipment
• To commission new and modified / repaired machines and equipment
• To carry out work in a timely and professional manner
• Will be required to work anywhere in the UK and abroad when necessary
• To supply telephone assistance and site attendance to assist other departments outside of normal working hours as part of the On Call roster as required.

CANDIDATES MUST:
A 3 years experience on hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic machines and equipment is essential
Full clean manual driving licence is required. A company van will be provided
Previous experience or exposure and experience of Pneumatic, Hydraulic, electric/electronic system.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Degree in Engineering or completed a full and indentured engineering apprenticeship

WHAT OUR CLIENT OFFERS:
Salary: £40,000 to £43,000 per year
Paid 4 weeks holiday on the 1st year and increase on the succeeding years
Allocated Van and fuel card

Shift timings:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am to 15:45 pm
Friday: 7:00 am to 11 noon
Permanent, Full time position- 37 hours/week
Overtime is available but not guaranteed
3 months probationary period
