Highway Delivery Engineer

• Delivering and implementing traffic schemes as per agreed timelines, budgets, and specifications
• Assisting in managing the highways term contractor to ensure efficient scheme delivery
• Keeping up to date with legislation changes and best practices
• Applying updated knowledge to the work of the design team
• Disseminating important information to colleagues within and outside of the service

• Experience in delivering and implementing traffic schemes
• Understanding of highway engineering principles and practices
• Ability to manage contractors and ensure project compliance
• Knowledge of current legislation and best practices in highway and traffic engineering
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
