General Maintenance Operative

We am currently recruiting on behalf of a well established maintenance company who are looking to hire an experienced General Maintenance Operative with a background in facilities maintenance and a good electrical understanding to work on a prestigious site in the Stratford area of London and be part of the building services day team.

The role is covering the common areas of a high end luxury apartment complex and on a day to day basis you will be responsible for a number of duties including:

• PPM and Reactive Repairs
• Emergency lights
• Water checks
• Fire alarms
• West risers - weekly pump checks
• Filter changing
• Lamping
• General plant checks

The ideal candidate would have an experience of working with commercial environments in a maintenance capacity, have a good electrical understanding (ideally with some form of certification), excellent customer service skills and a good all round knowledge of plant.

Interviews taking place this week and next for the position, the process will be a telephone first stage then a meeting on site.
