Counterbalance Forklift Driver

We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team, handling ceramic tiles in a dynamic warehouse environment. This role requires a candidate with experience in warehouse operations, particularly in picking, packing, and forklift operations. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move pallets and manage stock locations.
• Pick and pack stock, assemble customer orders from various pallets, ensuring orders are correct and well-packed.
• Load and unload vehicles, including offloading containers using a dock leveller and ramp.
• Conduct regular health and safety checks on vehicles and report any issues.
• Record any damages to stock or equipment.
• Work across two sites, handling the logistics and movement of ceramic tiles.

• Proven experience in a busy multi-function warehouse environment.
• Valid forklift licence and experience with counterbalance forklift trucks.
• Desirable: Ability to drive a 7.5-tonne curtain side lorry.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately.
• Must be able to adhere to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.

• Annual salary of £25,000.
• 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays.
