We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Officer to support residents facing significant challenges in their communities. This role sits within the Resident Relationship ASB Team, working directly with individuals experiencing complex and high-risk situations such as mental health issues, domestic abuse, harassment, and financial hardship.

As an ASB Officer, you will play a key role in safeguarding residents, ensuring that they receive the right support and interventions to help them sustain their tenancies and live safely in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of complex ASB cases, working closely with residents to develop outcome-based action plans.
Act as the single point of contact for residents in crisis, providing direct support and coordinating interventions.
Investigate reports of ASB, harassment, and hate crime, ensuring that appropriate legal and enforcement action is taken where necessary.
Work closely with internal teams and external agencies, including mental health services, social care, police, and domestic abuse specialists, to implement tailored support strategies.
Ensure that all cases are managed in line with housing policies, legal requirements, and safeguarding responsibilities.
Attend case conferences, court hearings, and multi-agency meetings, representing the organisation and advocating for the needs of residents.
Keep detailed case records and reports, ensuring compliance with data protection and regulatory standards.

About You
Proven experience in managing ASB cases within a housing, community safety, or local authority setting.
Strong understanding of housing law, ASB legislation, and safeguarding procedures.
Experience supporting residents facing mental health challenges, domestic abuse, or financial hardship.
Confident in preparing and serving legal notices, attending court, and handling enforcement actions.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents and stakeholders.
Strong case management abilities, ensuring timely interventions and effective risk management.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads, and handle difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism.
IT proficient, with experience using housing management systems and case recording tools.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable but not essential).
Enhanced DBS check required.
