Optical Advisor

We are seeking a motivated Optical Advisor to join our dedicated in-store team. This part-time role (3 days a week) offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking additional experience in the optical industry. Previous optical experience is required, including a strong background in customer service and a passion for helping people. Complete training will be provided. The ideal candidate will thrive in a customer-facing environment, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate an interest in commercial operations. The ability to work towards individual and team targets is key.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming in-store experience.
• Assist customers in selecting frames and lens options tailored to their lifestyle and prescription needs.
• Assisting with pre-screening under supervision.
• Accurately measure and fit frames to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
• Provide product information and confidently promote designer and house-brand eyewear.
• Conduct telephone communications, including appointment bookings and general enquiries.
• Perform basic frame adjustments and repairs (training provided)
• Maintain store presentation and cleanliness standards.
• Handle end-of-day cashing up and assist with stock management and replenishment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in an optical role is required.
• Confident using computer-based order systems
• Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
