In the heart of Hackney an excellent Secondary School are seeking a Psychology Teacher / Social Sciences to join their well established team to start September 2026. This is a permanent full time contract.

The Headteacher is looking for a dedicated and ambitious Psychology Teacher who who is confident to teach some social sciences, predominantly sociology, alongside a KS5 Psychology timetable. The School is renowned for its excellent behaviour, supportive SLT and popular uptake of Psychology / Social Sciences at KS5.

• Full time, Permanent, September 2026
• Competitive Inner London Salary MPS1- UPS3 + TLR (dependent of experience)
• £40,317 - £62,464 per annum
• Planning and delivering engaging Psychology / Social Sciences lessons to a diverse cohort of pupils
• TLR opportunities : Pastoral Responsibilities
• ECTs Welcome: 1:1 Mentor, bespoke ECT induction
• Teaching KS5 Psychology with optional KS4 Social Sciences (Sociology)

Persons Specification- Psychology Teacher / Social Sciences Teacher

• Experienced Psychology Teacher or ECT with UK QTS
• Experience teaching Psychology or Social Sciences previously.
• Strong academics across the board- Degree, A-level and GCSEs
• Confident with KS5 subject knowledge for Psychology
