An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Technical Manager to join a leading food manufacturer in Canterbury. This role is perfect for someone with food manufacturing experience who is looking to step up into a leadership position within a technical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Factory Manager in ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards
• Maintain and develop HACCP plans, audits, and quality management systems
• Oversee customer and supplier technical queries, ensuring prompt resolution
• Lead internal audits and support external audit preparations
• Ensure product specifications, labelling, and traceability meet regulatory requirements
• Drive continuous improvement in food safety and quality processes

This position would sit in the senior leadership team, allowing for decision making power and autonomy. You would be joining an incredibly successful business, with the support of a very experienced team.
