Accounts Receivable Specialist

Finance Assistant (Accounts Receivable) Bedford 28K. 100% office based to start with

Abacus Consulting are delighted to be partnering a well-established business in their search for an Accounts Receivable Assistant.

Working as part of a small finance team your duties as the Accounts Receivable Assistant are likely to include:

• Processing manual invoices/credits
• Supporting sales transactions, through review of credit exposure and risk
• Responding to customer queries.
• Aged debt reporting. Calculating bad debt provision.
• Accounts reconciliation.
• Cash allocation
• Reviewing customer credit limits and payment terms

To be considered for this role, candidates must have some Accounts Receivable experience, ideally live locally or within an easy commute of Bedford. Will need to be confident Excel user, comfortable working as part of a team and building relationships with colleagues at all levels and suppliers.

This is an urgent role, ASAP interview/start. Permanent/full time. Office every day to start with then likely to be at least 1 day a week working from home. Onsite parking. Not directly accessible on public transport.
