Leading a small, dedicated team, you will deliver an exceptional support service, ensuring both proactive and reactive maintenance activities are completed to the highest standards, reflecting the Centre's prestige and purpose while achieving excellent value for money.You will cover all aspects of repairs and maintenance, including plumbing, air conditioning, electrics, building fabric, health & safety, and emergency support. Alongside this, you will provide technical guidance to the maintenance team, execute PPM plans, manage contractors, and oversee and inspect all works to ensure quality and compliance.About You To be considered as a Facilities & Operations Manager, you will need: - Experience of staff management- Experience managing third-party contractors- Experience managing complex mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems- Experience managing planned preventative maintenance for hard and soft services- Experience in a similar field, such as a school, university or charity- The ability to explain technical issues to non-technical personnel- Knowledge of statutory legislation and compliance standards- A thorough understanding of CAFM and building systems- Awareness of sustainability and energy efficiency practicesThe closing date for this role is 6th November 2025.Other organisations may call this role Facilities Manager, Building Operations Manager, Building Manager, Estates Manager or Maintenance Manager.Webrecruit and the Aga Khan Foundation (United Kingdom) are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
