Job Requirements/Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical projects at Gatwick Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to manage high-profile projects at one of the busiest airports in the UK.

Electrical Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, plan, and execute electrical projects at Gatwick Airport, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within scope, time, and budget.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and electrical regulations, maintaining the highest safety standards.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues or delays.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including airport management, contractors, and clients, providing regular project updates.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Resolve project issues, ensuring prompt and effective solutions to minimize downtime or disruption.
  • Review and approve designs, electrical schematics, and project documentation.
  • Ensure all project reporting, including progress reports, budgets, and schedules, are kept up to date and accurately recorded.

Electrical Project Manager Requirements:

  • Valid ECS card
  • SMSTS
  • At least 5 years of experience managing electrical projects, with a proven track record in the aviation, infrastructure, or commercial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, project management methodologies, and safety regulations.
  • Experience with large-scale project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Knowledge of working in regulated environments, such as airports, is highly preferred.
  • Full UK driving license.
