Merchandising Assistant - Christmas Seasonal

Location: Rochford, Essex

Duration: Between 5-6 weeks work (chance of extension)

Days: Starting in September, Monday-Friday

Hours: 9am - 5pm

Job Description:

• Create and maintain eye-catching displays to drive seasonal sales.
• Use your creative abilities to set up themed areas inline with current trends.
• Replenish stock regularly to keep tidy and well-organised shop floor.
• Assist in unpacking, sorting and pricing of seasonal stock.
• Adapt displays and set-ups based on seasonal changes.
• Handle customer queries in a professional, friendly and helpful manner.

Key Person Specification:

• Experience working within a shop/merchandising role would be beneficial.
• Experience dealing with the public and handling queries.
• The successful candidate must have own form of transport or live locally due to lack of public transport links.
• Be a reliable candidate and happy to help in various departments.
