Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor - £70,000-£95,000 - Leading Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Specialists - Permanent - Inhouse role - London My client is a tier one partner to blue-chip & private clients across the UK. They cover a variety of complex Water, Transport, Built environment & Energy projects.You will be responsible for all allocated commercial and contractual matters across these projects, including:

• Meeting clients to determine their needs and discuss any areas that need revising for price or feasibility
• Calculating material quantities and costs, labour costs and an achievable project timeframe
• Negotiating labour contracts and schedules
• Advising clients and crew on legal matters and disputes
• Monitoring subcontractors, safety practices, construction progress and material needs, including any changes which may impact costs
• Preparing labour and supplier accounts for payment
• Writing reports detailing costs and progress for clients

About you:

• You will hold an accredited course by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS, the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) or the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (ICES).
• 5 years + as a minimum level as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or construction.
