Storeman

Connect Grp UK are looking for a storeman for one of our valued clients in West Sussex.

Main duties will consist of the following:

• Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received
• Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
• Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
• Updating inventory management systems regularly
• Check and maintain stock of PPE, small tools, and material stock
• Receiving and unpacking incoming goods
• Organising and delivering goods from the store to the department that requires it

Required skills:

• Basic IT skills and a working knowledge of inventory management systems to be able to use company business system with initial training).
• Excellent organisational skills
• Ability to work methodically and quickly
• Excellent time management skills and exceptional work ethic
• Good knowledge of Manual Handling
• Ability to lift heavy items.
• Good team player, with a can do attitude .
• Teamwork skills and ability to work independently.
• Clean Driving Licence

• Immediate start available
• PAYE position with holiday entitlement and pension
• Working hours Mon - Thursday 07:00 - 17:00pm, Friday 07:00 - 13:30pm
• £26,000 - 28,000 per annum dependent on experience
