Connect Grp UK are looking for a storeman for one of our valued clients in West Sussex.
Main duties will consist of the following:
- Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received
- Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
- Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
- Updating inventory management systems regularly
- Check and maintain stock of PPE, small tools, and material stock
- Receiving and unpacking incoming goods
- Organising and delivering goods from the store to the department that requires it
Required skills:
- Basic IT skills and a working knowledge of inventory management systems to be able to use company business system with initial training).
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work methodically and quickly
- Excellent time management skills and exceptional work ethic
- Good knowledge of Manual Handling
- Ability to lift heavy items.
- Good team player, with a can do attitude .
- Teamwork skills and ability to work independently.
- Clean Driving Licence

- PAYE position with holiday entitlement and pension
- Working hours Mon - Thursday 07:00 - 17:00pm, Friday 07:00 - 13:30pm
- £26,000 - 28,000 per annum dependent on experience
