Job Requirements/Description

Operations Services department provides processing support for the front line business units handling trade finance, loan and cash management products. The department also includes the Operations Resilience and Operation Control teams which are responsible for overseeing the Bank's resilience programme and managing user rights for certain systems. The Cash Management team are responsible for the account and payment services for London Branch. As an Assistant - Cash Management, you will be responsible to support with payment services to corporate customers of Corporate Banking department, Financial Institutions, EMEA Syndications Centre and Commodity Business Centre. This is a full time permanent role.

Key responsibilities

  • Process international and domestic settlement related to cash management and corporate e-banking
  • Update client information files
  • Respond to internal and external queries by email and telephone
  • Process CIF and account opening as per clients' requests and relationship manager's confirmation
  • Verify required account opening documents before opening any account in the system
  • Place and roll-over fixed term deposits as per client's requests and relationship manager's confirmation
  • Maintain accurate diary for all payments and fixed term deposits
  • Liaise with Legal and Financial Crime and Compliance departments as well as customers to resolve any AML issues
  • Support product managers in managing product delivery processes, including system function setup and conducting online testing

Requirements

  • Degree educated preferably in Finance, Business or Accounting
  • Proven track record in similar business stream
  • Experience within the Financial Services industry is preferable
  • Good knowledge of Banking industry and processes is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in Mandarin is preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to multi-task
