Angular Developer

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for an Angular Developer for a 6 month contract based in London on a hybrid basis (50% office attendance).

Purpose of the Role:

This role sits within a small team and will primarily involve the front end migration of AngularJS to the latest Angular (version 19), ensuring the project is completed efficiently and on schedule.

Responsibilities of the role:

As an Angular Developer you will be responsible for:

• Successfully migrating the front-end application from AngularJS to the latest Angular (version 19), ensuring smooth transitions and timely delivery.
• Writing and maintaining unit tests using Jasmine or Jest to ensure code reliability and quality.
• Working closely with back-end teams, UX/UI designers, and other developers to implement new features and improvements.
• Ensuring high standards in code quality, maintainability, and performance by Typescript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Ability to develop new features for modern Angular front-end applications.

What we require from the Angular Developer:

• Strong Angular experience and knowledge.
• Jasmine/Jest unit testing experience and knowledge.
• Proven experience in Typescript.
• Strong HTML5, CSS and CSS Pre-Processor knowledge.
• Experience with third party UI controls (AG Grid, Angular Material UI etc).

Desirable criteria:

• Experience working in a regulated/ financial environment.
• Python and C# experience.
