Class 2 - HGV Driver

Job Title:Class 2 - HGV Driver (Waste Management)

Salary:£37,192.91 per annum / £14.85 per hour

Working Hours:48 hours per week

Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday, 4am start. Saturday hours available as over-time

Contract: 12 weeks Temp to Perm, weekly pay.

Location:Luton, LU4 8

Internally known as: Utility Driver - Dustcart, Skip, REL or RORO

We require experienced drivers who have experience in the waste industry and can operate multiple modes of vehicles.

Role responsibilities:

The role will also involve the driving and operation of vehicles, collecting industrial and commercial waste from our customers and delivering a high standard of service and always ensuring compliance with our customer s Health and Safety rules as well as our own. You will have experience on at least two of the following modes: Dustcart, Skip, REL or RORO.

You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team, delivering a high level of customer service.

• This role will include lone working and a responsibility to load.
• HGV 2 Licence
• Valid CPC card
• Valid Tachograph card
