Nursery Teaching Assistant

Are you a Level 3 Qualified Nursery TA with a passion for early years education? We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Teaching Assistant to support children aged 3 months to 5 years in a welcoming Primary school based in Greenwich.

While you'll mainly be based in pre-school classes, you may also be required to support across the nursery with younger age groups, making this a varied and rewarding role.Immediate start available for temp work with likelihood to be taken on as a regular position.

Nursery Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

• Support children's learning and development across all areas of the EYFS framework
• Help prepare children with the skills they need for a smooth transition into primary education
• Work alongside staff to create a nurturing and stimulating environment
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Provide flexible support across different age groups where needed

Nursery Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (minimum requirement)
• Proven experience working with children aged 3 months to 5 years
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
• Flexible, reliable, and committed to high standards of care and education
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
