Full-Time SEMH Teacher (1-Year Contract) in Camden

SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting for a passionate and resilient SEMH Teacher to join a highly supportive and well-resourced SEN provision in Camden. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work with pupils across KS1-KS3 who require specialist support for Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, behavioural challenges and additional learning needs.

The school champions trauma-informed practice, restorative approaches, and a child-centred curriculum designed to help every pupil thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to SEMH learners.
• Implement effective behaviour support and de-escalation strategies.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Work collaboratively with SENCOs, therapists, EHCP coordinators and external agencies.
• Support pupils in achieving their EHCP outcomes.
• Create a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK teaching qualification.
• Experience within SEMH, SEN or PRU settings.
• Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
• Calm, resilient and consistent approach.
• Passionate about improving outcomes for vulnerable learners.
• Based in Camden, or locally

Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pmSalary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)Contract: 1 Year (with potential extension or permanent opportunity)
