Job Description

As a Collections and Delivery Driver for DPD, you'll play a crucial role in our operations, often serving as the first point of contact with our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Starting your shift at the depot, where you'll be responsible for efficiently loading parcels onto your 3.5 tonne van according to your delivery schedule
• Safely operating and maintaining your assigned vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
• Executing multi-drop collections and deliveries throughout your designated area, ensuring timely and accurate service
• Providing exceptional customer service when handing over or collecting parcels, representing DPD in a professional and friendly manner
• Utilising our mobile technology to update delivery statuses, capture customer signatures, and manage your route effectively
• Handling parcels with care and attention, ensuring they remain in pristine condition throughout the delivery process
• Promptly reporting any issues or delays to your supervisor and taking appropriate action to resolve them
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, collections, and any incidents that occur during your shift
• Adhering to health and safety regulations, including proper use of provided uniform and PPE

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

To be considered for the role you must have:

• Held a full UK driving licence and had regular driving experience for 12 months or more
