We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Facilities Officer to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our facilities services. This pivotal role ensures the smooth running, safety, and compliance of our buildings and infrastructure. You will oversee maintenance, contractors, health & safety, and contribute to strategic planning for future improvements.
Day-to-day of the role:- Lead the facilities team and manage contractors to deliver high-quality services.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and statutory requirements.
- Oversee planned and reactive maintenance across all sites.
- Manage budgets, procurement, and service contracts.
- Support sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency improvements.
- Act as the main point of contact for facilities-related issues and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate records and produce reports for senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Proven experience in facilities management, ideally in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and building compliance.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., IOSH/NEBOSH, BIFM, or equivalent) are desirable.
