LTS are currently looking for a committed and motivated Teaching Assistant to start immediately in one of our client schools in the N21 area of Enfield, North London.
You will be supporting secondary aged pupils who have Special Educational Needs; namely:
You will be working across three designated classrooms, one for Key Stage 3 pupils, one for Key Stage 4 pupils and one for sixth forms attendees, supporting the students to successfully manage their needs and progress in a mainstream school.
You may work with them on a one-to-one or small group basis throughout the day and support them with both their learning and their personal needs.
The role is full time, Monday to Friday, from 8.30am until 3.30pm each day.
You will be paid daily, between £90 and £95 a day, on a weekly basis and you will be expected to follow the local school term dates, ideally avoiding taking holiday in term time to enable you to build good relationships with the pupils.
This role is not without its challenges; however, it is very rewarding, and you will be fully supported by a highly skilled, friendly staff team who will equip you with the resources and knowledge you need to help the pupils to progress.
The ideal candidate would be expected to:
Experience with Special Educational Needs, specifically supporting those with Autism is essential for this role.
