General Practice Surveyor and Valuer

A long-established London property consultancy is looking to bring in an experienced General Practice Surveyor to support continued growth. This is a key hire for the team, offering a broad mix of valuation, landlord & tenant, acquisitions, disposals and general consultancy work across both commercial and residential assets.

The role comes with a solid base salary, uncapped personal fee commission, a non-discretionary profit bonus, and the potential to move into a directorship after 24 months if certain performance triggers are met.

Key responsibilities include:

• Red Book valuations across a range of property types
• Managing lease renewals, rent reviews and wider landlord & tenant instructions
• Leasehold Reform Act work (experience here would be a real advantage)
• Supporting acquisitions, disposals and investment transactions
• Preparing clear reports, appraisals and recommendations
• Liaising with clients, solicitors and wider stakeholders
• Carrying out market research and analysis to support investment decisions
• Contributing to business development and spotting new opportunities
• Ensuring compliance across valuation and investment activity

You'll be a good fit if you are:

• MRICS with at least 6 years' PQE
• Experienced across general practice, ideally with both commercial and residential exposure
• Confident in client-facing situations and able to manage relationships well
• Strong on landlord & tenant and valuation work
• Commercially minded, analytical and organised
• Motivated and looking for a clear route to progress
