Join us as a Product Owner (Cards)

  • We’re looking for someone to work closely with our Product Manager and other mission teams in a cross-collaborative manner to ensure that the Cards product is delivered on-time, within budget, and meets customer expectations
  • You’ll be putting the customer at the heart of our plans and constantly improving their experience.

What you'll do

As a Product Owner (Cards), you’ll be leading the development and continuous improvement of a range of Cards feature sets, working with talented designers and engineers to deliver the best outcomes for our customers. You’ll be setting the vision for a whole host of features, making sure that we create a world-class experience for our customers. What’s more, you’ll take ownership of the roadmap and the definition, management and prioritisation of the backlog.

You’ll also be:

  • Using information relating to customers, business stakeholders, market conditions and business risks to prioritise and deliver improvements to the Cards journey
  • Driving all aspects of the Cards journey, including performance management, service proposition and customer experience
  • Working with stakeholders and delivering on KPIs to inform and monitor the Cards performance
  • Making sure that we run cost effective Cards services

The skills you'll need

To join us in this role, you’ll need to have proven experience as a product owner, product manager, or similar role in a Banking-as-a-Service or software development environment. Detailed understanding of the card payment schemes/networks, especially from the issuing perspective

You’ll also be expected to have:

  • Strong stakeholder management, amazing communication, conflict management and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with a definition of minimum marketable features and minimum viable products
