Junior Buyer

Location: Watford

Salary: 24,000 Basic + Great Commission scheme ( 30,000+ OTE)

Summary:

At Bis Henderson, we are looking for a Junior Buyer to join a Global Supply and Logistics Provider. The role focuses on providing advice and support on a range of products to support and meet client requirements. From providing clients with quotes, to negotiating with suppliers and analysing client requests from a technical perspective. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, alongside prior experience in a sales-focused environment. They will also benefit from having excellent communication and negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail. No previous Buying experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers, providing technical support for them as necessary.
• Analyse client requests and projects from a technical lens.
• Analyse and, where necessary, challenge quotes from suppliers.
• Work to ensure all sales targets are met.
• Help to technically manage large projects.
• Liaise with various departments throughout the business.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Keen to enter a career in a sales-focused environment, or already have experience in this environment.
• Strong educational background in English, Maths or business is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written alongside a great telephone manner.
• A keen eye for detail and confident problem-solving ability.
