Lifting Inspector/Tester Job Description: This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, knowledgeable lifting tester to join our team.

If you are LEEA approved with good knowledge of LOLER requirements then we offer a very competitive salary.

You will be responsible for testing a range of lifting equipment, carrying out repairs and completing relevant documentation. This will be mostly completed at our Rainham, Essex depot.

Lifting Inspector/Tester key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations of a wide range of lifting and manual handling equipment and accessories ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and legislation.
• Produce clear and concise reports detailing all equipment examined, highlighting any defects or recommendations.
• Perform risk assessments and method statements as required.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Become a valued member of our fitting team and the wider business

What Lifting Inspector/Tester will bring to the role

• LEEA qualified.
• Thorough understanding of LOLER regulations.
• Excellent time management skills
• A good eye for detail
• Confident in liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Computer literate.
• Full UK Driving License. Excellent time management skills with an eye for detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with initiative
