Package: £50,000 - £65,000 plus £6,500 Car Allowance + Travel Fully Covered

With a £500m+ turnover and an exciting portfolio of innovative projects, they are seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a £20m Commercial Office New Build in Reading.

This role provides an exceptional opportunity to work as the No. 2 Quantity Surveyor, collaborating with a Senior Quantity Surveyor. It s a fantastic platform to gain hands-on experience while progressing toward a Senior Quantity Surveyor position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage the project s financial and contractual performance.
• Prepare and submit monthly cost/value reconciliations (CVRs) and comprehensive progress reports.
• Oversee valuations, cost control, and cash flow management to ensure project profitability.
• Assist in subcontractor management, including procurement, valuations, and final account agreements.
• Maintain compliance with contractual obligations and internal processes, ensuring high-quality delivery.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with involvement in new build projects.
• Ambition to progress into a Senior Quantity Surveyor role, supported by structured career development.
• Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• A proactive and collaborative attitude, with a commitment to excellence.
