Speech & Language Teaching Assistant - Part-Time (2 Days)

A warm and supportive primary school in Medway is seeking a Speech & Language TA to work two days per week, supporting pupils with speech, language and communication needs.

Role Overview

• Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils with SLCN.
• Deliver speech and language activities set by the SENCo and Speech & Language Therapist.
• Support pupils in class by simplifying language, modelling vocabulary and helping them access learning.
• Use tools such as visual supports, communication boards and speech-sound practice.
• Record pupil progress and share updates with staff.
• Encourage confident communication, social skills and positive learning behaviours.

What We're Looking For

• Experience with SEN or SLCN (preferred).
• Warm, patient and enthusiastic.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
